Outgoing Adventures Dalmatian Coast   brings you a tour to remember! Croatia is beautiful, with its breath taking scenery. This thirteen day adventure is sure to amaze with its sight seeing tour of Zagreb, including Governor Jelacic Square, at the center of the capital of Croatia.  Famous for its wine production, you will visit the Varazdin region as well. This is just the tip of the iceberg, you are going to enjoy many more cities, and historic views!

This trip is sure to excite the history enthusiast in you. On a walk through narrow streets, this tour takes you to the 15th century Franciscan Monastery.  Experience the magnificent Renaissance cloister while attending a walking tour. Another walking tour will take you on a tour of Dubrovnik’s historic center. Originally built by Count of Kegleviae in 17th century, Bezanec Castle was onced owned by a group of Barons. Not only do you get to lay eyes on the castle, but you will stay here overnight.  The Pearl of the Mediterranean, as tourist love to call Dubrovnik, is rich in beauty, culture, and prosperity.

As if the historic sights, and thrilling walking tours isn’t enough, you even get to go on a cruise. That’s right, a full-day cruise to the island of Vis and the stunning Blue Grotto on the island Bisevo. On the outermost of Croatia’s inhabited islands, is where you will find the island of Vis. Here you will walk through the town of Komiza before heading off to the island of Bisevo. In Bisevo, you will see the Blue Grotto, where the sunlight illuminates a cavern in a shining blue water.

Day 1: Croatia

You will arrive in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

Day 2: Zagreb- City Tour

On day two you will attend a tour of the city, and visit  Tkalciceva Street.  Then walk back down to Kaptol, St Catherine’s Cathedral, Church of St Mark, St. Stephen’s Church, and Burglar’s Tower. 

Day 3: Zagreb-Varazdin Region

Visit Varazdin region, famous for there wine production.You will see the ancient Croatian capital of Varazdin.

Day 4:  Valentinovo – Plitvice

Today you depart for Plitvice. Take wooden paths on a stroll around the Lower and Upper Lakes of Plitvice.

Day 5: Plitvice – Zadar – Trogir

 Travel to the coast via Zadar, the ancient capital of Byzantine Dalmatia. Enter the city through a Venetian gate and tour the Roman Forum, the Church of St. Donatus and Cathedral of Anastasius. Visit the Archaeological Museum, as well.

Day 6: Trogir – Split – Hvar

Travel to the island of Hvar via Split, the second largest city in Croatia. You will also take a ferry ride to the island of Hvar.

Day 7: Hvar Walking Tour

Wak the streets to the 15th century Franciscan Monastery, and visit the Renaissance cloister. We also visit St Stephen’s Cathedral.

Day 8: Hvar- Vis & Blue Grotto Cruise

Take a full-day cruise to to the island of Vis and the stunning Blue Grotto on the island Bisevo. Return to Hvar in the early evening.

Day 9: Hvar- Croatia – Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina

Depart Hvar by ferry to Drvenik, where you are then drove along the coast to Opuzen. Then you turn inland to the border crossing at Metkovic. Cross into Bosnia, then  drive to Pocitelj.

Day 10: Mostar- Bosnia-Herzegovina

Walking Tour – Dubrovnik, Croatia

Begin the day with a walking tour of Mostar. Visit the rebuilt Monstar bridge and several other historic sights around the city.

Day 11: Dubrovnik- Walking Tour

 Tour Dubrovnik, “The Pearl of the Mediterranean” historic center. You will see many historic sights.

Day 12: Dubrovnik – Montenegro – Dubrovnik

Visit one of Europe’s newest countries, Boka Kotorska. After the tour here, you will then visit the town of Perast and see two small islands, St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks. 

Day 13: Departure

Today is the day you get to head home, or to your next destination!



Stay in top notch hotels, in the cities of Zagreb, Plitvice, Trogir, Hvar, Mostar, and Dubrovnik. All the hotels are top rated, air conditioned, and include en suite bathes. Smaller hotels may only be a couple stories and not provide elevators. You will get to stay overnight at the Dvorec-Bezanec Castle as well.
