Argentina & Chile: March & November

Outgoing Adventures Argentina & Chile is the the trip you have been waiting for! Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is just the beginning of this fourteen day trip. Explore destinations such as the Bariloche Area, Puerto Varas, Torres Del Paine, and Calafate. Take city tours of the political center of Buenos Aires, enjoy walking tours, nightlife and even a cruise. The destinations on this adventure are only the start of the fun to expect.  Museums, National Parks, glaciers, and historical landmarks are also included.

Are you a buff for art, museums or history? We have it all waiting in Argentina. Visit San Telmo, a place full of bohemians, artists, antiques shops and cobbled streets. Dorrego Square, popular for its weekly antiques market, is another hot spot on our adventure. La Boca, is where a lot of artists open their studios and workshops. We will walk along the street of Caminito to experience the culture of the area.  Francisco P. Moreno Patagonian Museum, inaugurated in 1940, has halls focused in natural science, ethnography, pre-history and regional history. All of which, are at your leisure to view. There are also many monuments, buildings of history, and rich architecture.

Get ready to visit some of the most beautiful and historical destinations in the region. Admire the Pink House also known as the Government House. Tour Recoleta, where we find the colonial style church of Our Lady of Pilar. Another amazing place, the Centro Naval, one of the city’s most exquisite buildings and a masterpiece of cast stone architecture. These are only a few of the stops you will embark upon. Day 1: Buenos Aires

Arrive in the city capital, Buenos Aires. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires with included dinner.

Day 2: Buenos Aires City Tour

Take a tour of the capital with historical stops, views and breathtaking architecture. Visit the political center of the city, the Governors House, and journey through many neighboring towns.

Day 3: Buenos Aires Walking Tour

Begin the day visiting Centro Naval, then tour the Kavanagh Building. Also on the list of sites and stops is the Palacio Paz art mansion, the General Jose de San Martin Monument, the British clock tour, and Retiro Station. End the day in Galerias Pacifico.

Day 4: Bariloche

Take a flight to Bariloche today, and visit the Francisco P. Moreno Patagonian Museum, visit the lakeside, and explore Bariloche.

Day 5: Bariloche Region 

On a half day tour you will head west from Bariloche on the highway to Llao Llao along the south  shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Visit the St Eduard’s chapel and the Llao Llao Hotel. Tour through thick beech forest surrounding the western Moreno Lake.

Day 6: Bariloche Argentina- Puerto Varas Chile

Travel by boat today while enjoying the scenery of lakes and mountains, while crossing the Andes.  Then get on a bus to Puerto Panuelo, where you board a ship to visit the Puerto Blest Port. From there you will take many more buses, ships, and sails to see many more sights.

Day 7: Puntas Arenas – Torres Del Paine

Fly to Punta Arenas, and then travel to Torres Del Paine. 

Day 8: Torres Del Paine National Park

Spend the entire day in the park.  travel in our coach stopping at different points of interest and scenic viewpoints. You will get the opportunity to walk one of the easy trails that give great views of the mountains, glaciers, and waterfalls for which Patagonia is famous. 

Day 9: Calafate, Argentina

Travel on the road from Torres Del Paine, Chile to Calafate, Argentina.

Day: 10 Calafate Perito Moreno Glacier & Glaciarium

Visit Lago Argentino, and head through sub-Antarctic forest that are the gateway to Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. Also visit a glacier museum, the Glaciarium. 

Day 11: Calafate Upsala Glacier

Board a boat at Puerto Bandera and tour the waters of the Upsala Glacier. 

Day 12: Calafate Ushuaia & Tierra del Fuego National Park

Fly to Ushuaia on an island called Tierra del Fuego. Spend the better half of the afternoon in Tierra del Fuego National Park. Also visit the old prison of Ushuaia, now full of museums and art.

Day 13: Ushuaia Beagle Channel Cruise – Buenos Aires

Cruise on the Beagle Channel and then fly back to Buenos Aires.

Day 14: Departure
