Montreal Pride : August 20th, 2017

The Montreal Pride parade will have floats from hundreds of local sports teams, cultural and community groups as well as other gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender groups. Additionally, the parade has both gay and gay-friendly businesses that celebrate the significant contributions of their LGBT employees and clients.

These events honor an important tradition that began in Montréal in 1979. Appropriately, participating groups, as well as businesses, are encouraged to design their floats including this year’s theme of Canada Pride Montréal 2017

Another exciting addition to these events is the designation of the Montréal Pride Grand Marshals. Soon, the names of these members of the LGBT community will be announced. Interestingly, the committee selects one for their contribution to the visibility of the LGBTQ movement and one for their contribution to our community.

The Montréal Pride will also be giving a series of special awards for the most exciting, crowd-pleasing and unforgettable floats.

  • Many amazing floats from sports teams, cultural and community groups, and many more from the LGBTQ community
  • Mega T-Dance, a line up of 4 DJs, will be play music at the end location of the parade
  • Montreal Drag Dive is the closer for the Mega T-Dance show
  • There will be special awards for the most exciting, crowd-pleasing and unforgettable floats
