Brooklyn Pride: June 9, 2018
Brooklyn Pride: Help us kick off Pride Saturday by joining us for our annual 5K! The race follows a route through scenic and historic Prospect Park. It is always a great event in which to participate or watch all the fun! We are pleased to announce that we will have a Trans/GNC category for our run this year for folks who have felt limited by our male and female options in the past.
A portion of the revenue generated will be donated to Cheer New York, an all-volunteer non-profit cheerleading squad, made up of LGBT adults and straight allies. Their mission is to support the fight against AIDS and other life-challenging conditions by raising money for local charities through their “Cheer for Life” fund.
Come and be part of the ONLY New York City night time parade Saturday, June 9th. The parade starts around Lincoln Place and ends at 9th St. & 5th Avenue and steps off promptly at 7:30pm. We would love for you to come see us and all of our community partners as we march into our 21st year!
- Stay fit and run 5k for charity
- The biggest and only night-time parade in New York.
- Meet other members of the LGBTQ community.
- Multicultural festival that spans six city blocks.
