Bike, Zip, and Raft Zoar: Take Pride Outside
Cool off this summer with an adrenaline-packed adventure rafting and ziplining or mountain biking the Zoar Gap.
We are bringing you to New England’s premier whitewater rafting and adventure zone! No Lehigh or Delaware river float here. This is real III-IV whitewater, only available on the clean and clear waters in the Zoar Gap of the Berkshires.
We won’t stop there. An adrenaline packed adventure wouldn’t be complete without the option of ripping through the trees on one of the highest and longest ziplines in North America or mountain biking through single tracks that crisscross the mountain side.
But don’t get nervous! No matter your skill or passion, adrenaline junkies and novices will find fun and adventure on this trip. This moderately-priced adventure packs in tons of exhilaration while not breaking the bank. Included is transportation, a modest inn, rafting gear and guides, ziplining or mountain bike gear, a welcome reception, and a BBQ lunch.

Sat, Jul 13 | Arrive & Zipline or MTN Bike
NYC GOATs will meet our shuttle for a 7:30 am departure from Paragon Sports.
GOATs will arrive by 11:30 am in the Berkshires for a quick lunch and before check-in.
By early afternoon you’ll have either flown 50 mph, 200 ft above the trees on over 8000 ft of wire strung between 6 towers and 2 mountain peaks or, after expert instruction, ripped through wooded single track trails exploring the north woods via mountain bike. Afterwards, we’ll catch our breath at our 19 acre mountain-top inn. There we’ll relax, freshen up, and enjoy a welcome reception overlooking the vista before heading out to dinner (just in time to watch the sunset across the valley).
Sun, Jul 14 | Rafting & Depart
After an early but hearty breakfast, we’ll arrive at the river timed for the dam release. 1000 cfs of rushing water that will swell the narrow river bed as it drops continuously over five miles, creating class III and IV rapids. It’s non-stop action from put-in to take-out, through the largest rapid, “Dragon’s Tooth” to “Terminator”, the river’s longest labyrinth of white water. But don’t be intimidated, while it’s exhilarating, our experienced guides keep it safe enough for beginners and exciting for thrill seekers.
We’ll end our wild weekend on the deck of the Crazy Horse, a mountain-side pub, enjoying a casual BBQ cookout lunch. While grabbing drinks, exchanging photos and videos, and swapping contact info, we’ll bid adieu to new friends and make our way back home. (NYC GOATs, taking our shuttle, will arrive in NYC by 8:00pm)
