o&a men take over yogani studios for a traditional bikram yoga practice.

bikram yoga is a specifically designed series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises performed in a heated room to keep the muscles supple, working the entire body inside and out, bones to the skin. be prepared to cleanse your system and refresh your soul.  pictured at left is ‘awkward pose’ – one of the 26 poses that we’ll practice.

our class will be led by master yogani studio instructor, thom taylor.   thom will gently guide us through each of our poses to work all muscles and achieve a deep body stretch as well as peaceful state of mind.  for more on thom taylor’s yoga beginnings and philosophy click here.

this class will be 90 minutes and geared toward those of all levels of yoga experience.

following class, we’ll mingle over snacks and have a raffle drawing.   one lucky yogi will receive a one week unlimited pass to yogani.

  2. Alan says:

I went to a Bikram yoga class years ago. Would this be realistic for a guy working on getting back in shape?

    • robert says:

Alan, Bikram classes are considered ‘beginner’ classes, however as you may recall they are a challenging workout.

I highly recommend the class. For any challenging physical activity I feel it’s important to set a realistic expectation.

      I say go for it!

Good afternoon. Robert is correct. Bikram is designed for beginners. I think it would awesome for you, just take it gradual. Ease back into the practice and move to deep to quick.

Hope to see you sunday, please introduce your self to me if you are able to attend.

        Peace & Bliss

        Thom
