O&A at American Stage

once again outings & adventures steps out with a special night at the theater!

our evening
this time, we start with delicous appetizers and drinks at downtown hotspot primi urban cafe, then head over to american stage theater for a brilliant performance of the pulitzer prize winning hit, “driving miss daisy.” called a “must-see new classic” and “the most-requested play” by american stage patrons, this is very likely to be a sell-out event.

about the play
“driving miss daisy” playing march 1 thru april 18 is the post-world war ii story of a rich, sharp-tongued jewish widow (daisy) and her african american chauffeur (hoke), who slowly build a friendship that transcends their differences. the story defines daisy and her point of view as it relates to her home life, synagogue, friends, and family. the play is filled with wit and wisdom, and explores the importance of tolerance and love.
